Staten Island.
An enclave many heimishe families take pride in calling home.
In just a short span of time, it has grown into a vibrant and flourishing community. A life of Torah and Avodah in a beautiful neighborhood, boasting a peaceful atmosphere and airy streets, far removed from the city’s hustle and bustle.
What was once a fledgling kehilla has, in only a few short years, proven many skeptics wrong. Willowbrook, Manor Heights, Westerleigh and its surrounding areas are now home to new yeshivas and schools, multiple shuls, and expanding shopping districts. Today, Staten Island proudly serves over 2,000 long-standing families, alongside 1,000+ new families who have joined the community in recent years.
Dedication, teamwork, and unity paved the way to this success.
Yet with growth comes responsibility. Beyond the families already connected, there are an estimated 30,000 traditional Jewish families on Staten Island who do not yet use the mikvah. Many seek connection and inspiration, and often the environment itself makes the difference. A mikvah that reflects world-class beauty, dignity, and warmth can open hearts and encourage participation in this timeless mitzvah.
To serve its ever-growing community, Staten Island is embarking on an incredible journey: the construction of a brand-new, state-of-the-art Mikvah Taharah, featuring the latest in technology and décor. Built with care and sensitivity, this mikvah will meet current needs while also welcoming and inspiring those who have not yet taken this vital step.
As Staten Island reaches out for help, Klal Yisroel will heed the call. United as one, let us support this holy endeavor and ensure that future generations are built with kedushah and teharah.
We will not let them down.
Keeping Taharas Hamishpacha is a time-tested segulah for children, parnassah, and health. By supporting this project, you help Jewish women fulfill this sacred mitzvah — and in that merit, may you see yeshuos, brachos, and hatzlachah in your life.

Innovative Shabbos system By: Shabbos Indicator
Mikvah Tahara will utilize patented technology from Shabbos Indicator ™
similar to Shabbos lamps or bulbs, the system features stationary light.
Fiber Optic lines run between each room and the attendant panel. This allows the light from the room to be reflected to, and displayed on, the attendant panel.
Each prep room has a unit with fixed colored LED lights. Patrons then rotate a knob, pointing it toward either READY or HELP.
Attendants have a panel that displays the status of each prep room. By reflecting different color lights, attendants can easily see the color that is reflected from the corresponding room unit.
